Blossoming Artistry: My Journey as a Resin Artist

Art is where I belong, in any form - be it painting, singing, or dancing. I've always been captivated by the world of creativity. As a young art enthusiast, I collected magazines dedicated to art and interior design. The artists featured in those glossy pages inspired me, and I dreamed that one day, I too would be showcased in a magazine, sharing my artistic journey.Resin art, in particular, resonates with me on a profound level. As an artist, I've delved into various facets of artistic expression, but resin art's boundless possibilities have drawn me in. It's a burgeoning art form, offering unparalleled richness and aesthetics, which is why I chose to be a resin artist. My journey in the world of art began in earnest when I won a painting competition back in seventh grade. Even amidst stiff competition from talented artists, I emerged victorious, a memory I cherish with immense pride....Artists are often sensitive and emotional beings, and I'm no exception. In the chaos and unpredictability of the world, I've had my share of stress and anxiety, which can sometimes lead to creative blocks. The frustration, restlessness, and guilt of not being able to give my best weigh heavily. To overcome these hurdles, I find solace in music, conversations with my brother, and exploring Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration.Like many artists, I faced resistance when considering a career in art due to my parents' concerns. However, I'm grateful for the unwavering support of my husband, brother, sister-in-law, and daughter, who have always encouraged my artistic pursuits.Resin art doesn't necessarily require exceptional drawing or painting skills; creativity is the key to becoming a successful resin artist. While I've just started, I manage by storing my products in display cabinets and cupboards. But as I plan to scale up, I'll certainly create a dedicated space for my artworks. The best way to get things done is to simply begin. Taking precautions to protect my skin, hair, and working surfaces is paramount. Paying attention to proportions is essential, and, above all, never forgetting to have fun.I intend to be authentic and continually innovate. Over the next year, my focus will be on creating visibility and expanding the trusted customer base of my brand. I aim to establish a brand known for its unwavering commitment to aesthetics and quality.Recently, I set up a stall for Rakhi and received a positive response. The appreciation, support, and love from those around me reassure me that I'll soon generate substantial revenue. I've also ventured into making Geode tables, a new endeavor that I'm enthusiastic about.Though I've just begun, I am hopeful to receive a few orders soon. Setting up a small Rakhi stall in my society for the first time was a valuable learning experience. I sold Rakhis, keychains, and earrings, receiving praise for my work.Joining SD Academia has been the turning point in my art career. The SD team's unwavering support and dedication have empowered me and other students to venture into creating our own brands. I never thought I would be where I am now, thanks to their guidance. It's been seven months since I joined the SD tribe. In the beginning, there were trials and errors. One unforgettable incident was when I attempted to make a photo frame, and it turned out blurry. But there have been moments of pure joy as well. I recently created a Geode table that I adore, along with Rakhis and earrings that make me proud of my progress. If I had to pick one pivotal moment, it would be the introductory session with Sharad Sir. It was during that session that I fell in love with resin art, as I created my first resin product: a round tray. I was a bundle of nerves, excitement, doubts, and mixed emotions, but looking back, that day was truly special.
