Meet Pallavi, a talented resin artist who embarked on this captivating path not too long ago.Pallavi's artistic voyage began recently, but she has already established a presence in the art world, thanks to her unwavering commitment and boundless creativity. With her shop, Instagram page, and online store, she has introduced the world to her remarkable resin artistry, specializing in crafting furniture, home decor, preservation, and wall decor pieces that dazzle with their glossy finishes. But how did this journey begin? Pallavi's inspiration sprouted from her bua, Radha Chauhan, a renowned oil painting artist whose talent and guidance ignited Pallavi's creative spark.... From a young age, she witnessed the magic of art in her bua's studio, where canvas, colors, and brushes came to life. This early exposure laid the foundation for her artistic aspirations. After completing her graduation in Fine Arts and a diploma in Multimedia and Animation, Pallavi embarked on a corporate journey, working with renowned companies. However, her artistic soul yearned for more. In 2013, following her marriage, she discovered her passion for paper crafting, creating beautiful photo scrapbooks for her clients. As her craft evolved, so did her creations, leading her to craft wooden nameplates, which garnered praise and attention.Yet, Pallavi felt an insatiable desire to learn and explore new artistic horizons. Resin art, with its mesmerizing shine and allure, beckoned to her. During her Fine Arts days, she was tasked with creating a tourism poster. With sheer determination, she crafted a stunning handmade poster on Rajasthan tourism, complete with a mesmerizing 3D effect. Her professor and peers were astounded by her work, so much so that they doubted her abilities, suspecting that she'd received assistance. However, Pallavi's explanation of her creative process left them in awe, and she emerged from that challenge with a newfound confidence in her abilities.Yet, every artist encounters creative blocks, and Pallavi is no exception. These moments, often brought on by extended periods of work, can be disheartening. She recalls one instance when a client's urgent request left her mentally stuck. The pressure to deliver clashed with her need for creative exploration, causing a blockage. However, Pallavi approaches these obstacles with patience, recognizing them as signals to take a step back, recharge, and find inspiration anew. Her coping mechanisms during creative blocks involve spending quality time with her family, going for walks with her husband, and indulging in her love for photography and video editing. These activities not only rejuvenate her spirit but also inspire her creativity.Pallavi is quick to acknowledge the unwavering support of her family and friends, who have been her pillars of strength throughout her artistic journey. Their encouragement and belief in her work have fueled her determination to excel in the world of resin art.Dispelling the myth that every resin artist must excel at drawing and painting, Pallavi affirms that resin art is about creativity and innovation, rather than traditional artistic skills. She encourages newcomers to embrace resin art, emphasizing that patience and an understanding of materials are all it takes to get started. When it comes to the challenge of space, Pallavi agrees that larger resin projects like furniture and wall decor do require ample, well-ventilated areas. In response, she transformed a room in her house into a dedicated studio. This space is meticulously organized to facilitate her daily work, ensuring cleanliness, and protection from dust and insects.Pallavi draws inspiration from her bua's mantra, "Art kabhi kharab nahi hoti" (Art is never ruined).
