Brushes and Resin: A Journey from Dreams to Artistry

Once upon a time, in a quiet town where the streets echoed with the stories of artisans and their crafts, lived an aspiring resin artist. Her journey into the world of art began recently, but her passion for creating beautiful resin pieces had already blossomed into a promising business venture. As she shared her story, the artist recounted her early memories of being enchanted by the magic of art. When she was just 8 or 9 years old, a chance encounter with a street artist painting a vivid God's portrait left an indelible mark on her young heart. She watched in awe, forgetting everything else around her, as she witnessed the creation of something so mesmerizing.Years passed, and the artist's love for art continued to grow. Her parents, ever supportive, encouraged her to read books extensively. The enchanting stories of princesses, gods, and mythical creatures within those pages ignited her imagination.... She couldn't help but dream of those characters, even during her sleep. Her childhood was filled with dreams of recreating the characters' clothes, jewelry, and even adding makeup. Her love for art flourished, thanks to her first inspirations - her parents and that roadside painter who unknowingly set her on this creative path.Fast forward to the present, the artist's fascination with glassy, crystal-like objects and the allure of glossy, colorful resin designs drew her like a moth to a flame. The moment she began working with resin, she found herself immersed in the process, finding solace in the act of pouring and creating intricate designs. It became her stress-buster, a way to escape the chaos of everyday life. Each finished resin product felt like her own creation, a testament to her dedication and creativity. The joy of crafting something beautiful, combined with the awe in people's eyes when they saw her work, was incredibly rewarding. It was the perfect way to bridge the gap of her shyness and express herself through art.The artist shared that she hadn't faced a creative block. In fact, art and creativity were her companions during life's tough times, helping her overcome challenges and depression. Whenever life threw problems her way, she turned to art as a means of coping and finding solace. But her journey wasn't without its doubts and challenges. She candidly admitted that she faced the biggest challenge from within herself. Doubts about whether pursuing art was the right path for her, concerns about wasting time and money, and fear of failure loomed large. It was a battle against her own insecurities, a challenge she had to confront and conquer. One common myth about becoming a resin artist, she pointed out, was that one needed to be proficient in drawing and painting. However, she wholeheartedly debunked this misconception. Resin art, she believed, required passion and creativity rather than traditional artistic skills. It was the essence of artistry that mattered most. The artist also acknowledged the challenge of space that often comes with resin art. Resin products can take up room, and she herself had faced this problem. Messy workspaces and the accumulation of materials can clutter a room. However, she emphasized that with some organization, such as shelves or stands, this challenge could be overcome. As we concluded our conversation, the artist left us with a quote that has always motivated her: "LIFE IS GOD'S ART" by Larry Norman. It beautifully encapsulates the essence of her journey - the creation of art as a divine gift.To all aspiring artists, she offered a simple yet powerful message: "All the best & do your best." Her journey, from a shy girl with a dream to a confident resin artist, serves as an inspiration to follow one's passion, overcome challenges, and create beautiful art from the heart. As she continues to craft her unique resin pieces, her future plans include creating occasional products, giving importance to customer preferences, and striving for innovative designs
