Resin Art: Crafting Positivity and Beauty

Recently, I embarked on a creative journey that has taken me by storm. I've set up shop, opened an Instagram page, and even established an online store to showcase my unique creations to the world. What is my medium, you ask? Well, it's an amalgamation of jewelry, furniture, home decor, preservation, wall decor, abstract pieces, and mixed media. In this blog, I'll take you through my artistic voyage, my inspirations, and my dreams for the future.I started this endeavor not only to fuel my creative spirit but also to create awareness about my brand. Gaining social media followers and attracting clients for customizations are my top goals. This platform serves as my portfolio, a visual narrative of my artistic evolution. My creations predominantly revolve around resin art, a medium I discovered through my inner voice for creativity. I find it interesting and beautiful, much like the first-ever achievement in the field of art when I acted in my school's play during fourth grade, earning a prize for my acting skills.... But, like any artist, I have my moments of doubt, sometimes stemming from the lack of inspiration from my loved ones. When confusion and irritation creep in, I turn to nature, seeking beauty that I can depict in my art. There have been naysayers who worry about my health due to lung allergies, but I firmly believe that art is for everyone. It's not confined to any particular group. Fortunately, I've found the perfect space for my artistic endeavors. I acquired my daughter's room when she moved to Mumbai for work, and now it's my dedicated workstation, free from place constraints.Vincent Van Gogh once said, "There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people." I couldn't agree more, and I often tell others that if they want to start their artistic journey, they should join Sharad Sir's workshops first. My goal is to use art as a therapeutic remedy, creating positivity through my workshops. Each day in this artistic voyage feels like the rising sun, getting brighter with every passing day. My creations range from puja platters to keychains, each a labor of love that takes approximately 18 hours of work. My preferred medium is mixed media, and although challenges arise when the art doesn't turn out as expected or when bubbles mar my creations, I persevere. One of my proudest moments came when I received an order for 12 puja plates. It's a testament to the beauty that resonates in resin art. And now, the culmination of my efforts is drawing near. On August 19th, 2023, my creations will be showcased at Seven Seas in Rohini, Delhi, an event I've been eagerly anticipating. It's incredible how art can transform lives. I owe my journey to SD Academia, which introduced me to resin art just five months ago. Though there are moments of demotivation, there are also moments of immense pride when my art surpasses my expectations, much like the blue lagoon table I crafted under the guidance of Sharad Sir.My artistic voyage is far from over, and I look forward to what the future holds. It's a journey filled with creativity, beauty, and the pursuit of positivity through art. Thank you for joining me on this adventure, and I can't wait to see where it takes us next.
